We are now officially playing the waiting game, which has been made up of: nesting, cleaning, organizing, painting, and a host of other things. 4 days and counting before Lydia is due. Crazy! I would be great with any day now. I think the last days of pregnancy increase in length, but don't get me wrong, I am so grateful that she has made it over 39 weeks. With all the contracting I have been doing over the past several months, I was worried she might be born too early. I still don't think we really get it yet. We have so much to learn!
In the mean time, we are trying to be as productive as possible before the unknown D-day. Brian has been hard at work with the house reno stuff, now that he is done with his ordination exams!! After nearly a year of studying and taking multiple oral and written exams, he is at the end of that road. Praise the Lord! He is scheduled to have his ordination service on December 13. We appreciate all the support and prayer during this season so much! Please keep it up! I know we will need it more than ever as we start this new adventure of parenting. We are so undeserving of the grace the Lord has abundantly given us. I know He will use this child to draw us closer to Himself, because we know we cannot do this parenting thing on own. We are dependent on His promise that when we are weak, He is strong.
Here are some updated pictures:
Thanks Norm for taking some pregnancy shots!
